ALEX

You wouldn’t know–

SAM

Know? It’s my living room of course I know. You can’t seriously try and trick me into thinking we’re anywhere other than my living room when we are sitting right here.

ALEX

(aggressively)

Count the walls.

SAM

What?

ALEX

Count the walls! Count them! Start with that wall right there, well it’s more a mess of curtains but start there, and work your way around.

SAM

One, two, three,

(Sam points at the audience)

four–

ALEX

No, no, not four, Sam. Not four! There’s an audience right here, a live, paying–well no not paying, but live people!
